This week was interesting, not so much the assignment per say, but because I actually took time to set and look at a room that I have spent an extended amount of hours in each day for the past three years. This room was not mine initially, it was originally my brothers office. During his two year battle with cancer, I never really looked at how much it reflected who he was until this assignment. From the Kentucky memorabilia, to the infatuation with the Civil War, the family photos, right down to the John Grisham novels, it brought back a lot of memories for me. There were times I paused just to look at something closely because I could recall where it came from, why it was there, and a specific memory attached to it. It's crazy how easily an object such as shot glass or a CD case can hold so much sentimental value. Overall I enjoyed this weeks assignment, and I don't feel like I ran into any bumps in the road this week. I do however feel my photos could have been better, some of my composition was off which I attempted to hide in Photoshop during my editing process.
